As a customer of Knudsen Plast you will have the best of two worlds.

In Denmark we are a well-established enterprise with a factory and skills centre in which we have brought together some of the most highly skilled experts within the sector.

In 2007 we established a factory in Slovakia that today employs several hundred people. Large volumes and an effective production format ensure that our setup is highly competitive.

 

Production in Denmark or Slovakia?

Some companies prefer production in Denmark for logistical reasons. For others, the requirement is for production to be located close to partners in central Europe.

At Knudsen Plast, our production runs 24/7 both in Denmark and Slovakia. In both factories, production is carried out at clean-room class 8 levels and in monitored clean rooms. We can also offer production class 7 in Denmark. Read more about our production facilities

 

Moulding tools

Maintenance of moulding tools is the alpha and omega of our trade.  Maintenance ensures an extended lifespan, high security of operation and low operational costs. At Knudsen Plast we design maintenance plans for moulding tools and establish a log for each tool.

The log describes in detail specific steps with regard to preparation and planned maintenanceand allows us to verify that the moulding tool meets production standards are at all times.  Customers can at any time request a print out of the log.

If a production run requires a new tool, we are happy to take responsibility for purchases. We have extensive experience in the types of tools best suited to specific production processes. We can of course also offer new production lines using existing moulding tools.

Our core competence is injection moulded plastic components for the healthcare sector, with specialisation in the areas of precision injection moulding, quality control, documentation, project development and tool design. We offer contract production both in Denmark and Slovakia.
